Eide Chrysler Pine City is excited to announce a leadership change within our service department!
The Eide Automotive Group prides itself on promoting from within, helping to build and strengthen our employees so that they are always growing both personally and professionally.
Starting January 1, 2024, Alex Johnson became our Service Manager, and Jon Hallin became our Assistant Service Manager!
Meet Alex Johnson
Alex Johnson started working at Eide in 2020 in our sales department, and then in 2021, moved to our service department and became the Assistant Service Manager. And now, this month, Alex was promoted to our Service Manager!
“I like working in the automotive service industry because I like being able to help people, turning their day around and making it more enjoyable,” says Alex. “We have also been able to put together a great team, which makes each day something to look forward to.”
Alex likes working at Eide Chrysler Pine City because they are very dedicated to their staff, and enjoys the people she gets to work with every day.
“I enjoy the work that I get to do, and the different challenges it brings,” Alex says. “I am excited to watch the growth of our technicians, advisors, and the business as a whole.”
Alex has many plans for the growth of the service department. One thing she is excited to implement is making sure that all customers are greeted with a smile when they enter the service department, and getting to meet and talk to each customer that walks through the door.
“I would like to thank Mike Johnson and Tom Fischbach, for presenting me with the different opportunities to move into service and to advance in my field, and for their ongoing support. Because of them, I have been able to grow both personally and professionally, and their knowledge has helped me get to where I am today.”
In her free time, Alex likes to spend time with her kids, especially in the summer when they go camping and fishing!
“It has been really fun to watch Alex grow into this new role,” says Mike Johnson, Service & Parts Director. “She is an excellent leader, always willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done. I know she is going to do an amazing job taking on this new role as Service Manager.”
Meet Jon Hallin
Jon started working in the automotive industry in 2011 as a service technician, and then in 2021, he started working at Eide Chrysler Pine City as a Service Advisor. And now, Jon is taking on his new position as Assistant Service Manager!
“I like working in the automotive service industry because of the customer interactions I get to have, and the different people I get to work with in the dealership,” Jon says. “Eide Chrysler is a great place to expand your horizons, perform at a high level each day, and see projects through to the end, knowing we were able to do good for our customers.”
Jon worked on cars growing up, and even went to school to be a service technician. He always knew he enjoyed the automotive industry, because it was something he was good at. His knowledge and skills is something that has aided in his growth within his career.
“I am excited for this opportunity to take this next step in my career, to continue my growth, and to help with the growth of our service department, and our dealership as a whole,” says Jon.
In his free time, Jon likes to go fishing and ride his motorcycle.
“Jon has a fine attention to detail, particularly in navigating the complexities of warranty claims and addressing numerous different customer needs,” says Mike. “This skill has aided in the major growth and success of our service department. I am excited to see the positive impact he is going to bring to our department and our dealership.”
We are thankful to have two great leaders within our Service department, and we are excited to see all the good they will bring to the department and to Eide Chrysler Pine City!
