Meet our new General Manager, James Randall!

We are excited to announce the promotion of our new General Manager at Eide Chrysler Pine City, James Randall! 

James started at Eide as a Sales Consultant in 2012, and was promoted to Internet Sales Manager in 2013. He left for a short time, and then rejoined our team in 2018 as a Sales Manager. He was promoted to General Sales Manager in 2023, and as of April 1, 2026, he is our new General Manager! 

As a local to the area, James knows the importance of finding the right vehicles for those in his local community. From farm trucks to vehicles used to drive to the cities for work, James is passionate about ensuring we have the right vehicles on the lot for all of our customers. 

He grew up with Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram (CDJR) vehicles in his driveway, and one of the first cars he remembers driving was a 1980 Chrysler Newport with a 318 V8 engine. He enjoys seeing the new technology in CDJR vehicles and learning everything he can about the brands. 

“I like working in the automotive industry because I have always had a passion for cars, and I enjoy helping people’” says James. “The industry and technology are always changing, so there are always new things to learn and improve on.”

Moving into this new position, James will take on many new responsibilities. “I look forward to learning more about the dealership beyond just sales,” James says. “Service and Parts are a big part of the dealership that I haven't been too involved in, and I am excited to learn more. One of my biggest new responsibilities include customer satisfaction across all departments, and maintaining and growing our overall efficiency of the dealership.”

“James has done a great job at every stage of his career,” says Jesse Peterson, CEO and owner of the Eide Automotive Group. “He has been involved in many changes with the dealership over the years and has always been one of our top employees. He deserves this opportunity and I know he will do a great job being the face of Eide Chrysler Pine City.

In his spare time, James enjoys being outdoors with his family, going to the gym, jet skiing, golfing, and working on projects around the house.
