Meet Mike: Eide Chrysler's New Service and Parts Director

Mike Johnson has been working in the automotive service industry since the early 1990s, and this August, he began a new adventure as the Eide Chrysler Service & Parts Director here in Pine City.
Keep reading to learn more about Mike and what he’s most looking forward to in his new role.
Q. How long have you been on the Eide team?
I started here on August 1. It’s been a great six weeks!
Q. What are you most excited about in your new role?
I’m excited about the growth we’ve experienced so far. We’re making some good changes to better serve our customers. Our managers have coordinated to make our phone system more responsive and efficient, so we’re able to accommodate our service and parts customers more quickly.
Q. What do you like about working at Eide Chrysler?
It’s just not your typical car dealership. The team and the atmosphere are really great. There’s something unique about working here. The whole team just wants to serve people in a really helpful way. It’s a calm and friendly atmosphere.
Q. What makes Eide Chrysler’s service and parts department different from other northern Minnesota auto service shops?
It’s a good teamwork atmosphere here, and that is reflected in the quality of work we do. It comes from our managers on down.
Q. What’s your favorite vehicle on the Eide Chrysler lot right now?
I would have to say that I really like the new RAM 1500 pickups. The vehicles here have a lot of style to them. They stand out.
Q. How do you like to spend your free time?
I’m also a dairy farmer. My passions in life are antique tractors, hunting, and ice fishing for Northern Pike.
