Mike joined our Eide team in 2020, and immediately took on the role of Service and Parts Director.
Although only 3 years into this position, he has been working within the automotive service industry since 1994. His 29 years of experience have aided him in helping to create a healthy and successful service department here at Eide Chrysler Pine City.
In his free time, Mike enjoys dairy farming, hunting, darkhouse spearing, and working on, buying, and driving antique tractors.
“One of the best things about my job is being able to work with and train the younger generation within our dealership. Being able to share my knowledge and seeing the growth of the employees is such a fun thing to see,” says Mike.
Something that has been said time and time again is that Eide Chrysler Pine City is unlike any other dealership. “No matter what position an employee holds, everyone wants the other to succeed. This has created a fun place to work, and a good work environment.”
“Eide Chrysler Pine City is a special place to work. There is a small town mentality within the dealership itself; we all help each other out, and want to see each other succeed and grow within our careers,” says Mike.
A “rule” that Mike has implemented within his departments is the three-ring rule - the phone must be answered within three-rings. Because of this rule, we have seen positive reactions from our customers, and within our dealership.
Mike’s dedication to the satisfaction of his customers has also created a healthy work environment within the service technicians. “I have a great group of guys who mesh very well together, and I couldn’t have asked for a better community and family that we have been able to cultivate here.”
“Since joining Eide in late 2020, the Service Department has experienced tremendous growth and customer service continues to be excellent under Mike’s leadership. There is a saying in our dealership that if you just stay put for 3 minutes you will run into Mike. He never stops moving, and can be found 1 minute helping a customer on the service drive, and the next minute changing a lightbulb on the showroom floor; he often hits 20,000 steps before 9 am. And after his long days working at Eide he goes to a home and milks 80 head of cows at his family farm,” says Tom Fischbach, General Manager
