Have You Met Brian? He's our Employee of the Month!

If you’ve ever driven through the Eide CDJR lot browsing new vehicles, you may have spotted our lot manager, Brian Haskovec, hard at work.

Brian is our recent Employee of the Month, and since he has more of a “behind the scenes” role, we’re excited for Pine City drivers to get to know him a little better. After all, he’s responsible for making sure the Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, or RAM you take home is in tip-top shape!

So, what’s Brian’s story, and why was he chosen as Employee of the Month?

“A Little Bit of Everything”

If something needs to be done at the dealership, Brian gets it done.

“Brian is the lot manager, and he also handles the detail department,” says Moneer Nyazi, General Manager. “So, he does a lot at Eide CDJR.”

For example, Brian handles the overall logistics during snow removal time in Pine City and also oversees the day-to-day jobs in the detailing department.

“There’s a lot of in-and-out in the detailing department, and he handles it nicely,” Moneer says. “If we need a vehicle cleaned up last minute, he’ll do a great detailing job quickly. He truly just does a little bit of everything.”

Get to Know Brian

How long have you been at Eide?

I’ve been here for about a year and a half (as of June 2019). I’ve been in detailing off and on at different companies throughout the past 18 years.

What does a lot manager/detail manager do? How do you spend your day at work?

As lot manager, I check in the new or traded vehicles and sign them up to be serviced in our shop to make sure everything is proper and they are set up right on the lot — no flat tires, anything like that. I make sure it’s all copacetic between the shop, detailing, and up front.

As detail manager, I have three other employees right now, and it’s my job to make sure that the vehicles are being cleaned best as possible to look as new as they possibly can. I keep everyone on task and prioritized.

What is your favorite thing about your job?

To be honest, since Moneer took over — everything! He is an outstanding guy to work for. He’s a great boss, is very approachable, and easy to talk to. It makes me want to show up to work!

What's your dream vehicle?

My dream vehicle is a ‘69 Dodge Charger. I grew up on Dukes of Hazard and have always wanted that since I was a little boy!

How do you spend your free time?

I am a sheriff deputy reserve, so I spent a lot of time doing that. Aside from that, the rest of my time is for my family.

Why is Eide CDJR a great place for Pine City drivers to do business?

We are outstanding with customer service. Customers come first no matter what the issue is. It’s really become a great place to work because we have such a good relationship with all of our customers and we’ll do anything to make things right and make sure everyone is leaving happy. To me, that’s number one in a business like this.
