Eide Chrysler's Employee of the Month: Danny Colbaugh

 
Especially in these trying times, it’s a comfort to know and work with reliable people. Danny is one of those people. 

Several weeks ago, when Eide Chrysler began selling by appointment only, Danny remained committed to serving customers as well as he could. When most of us went to work at home, Danny was among a handful of our team who remained at the (very safe and sanitized) dealership. 

In April, Danny sold 38 vehicles here at our dealership, setting an impressive personal record.

“He’s very helpful and efficient with his customers,” said General Manager Moneer Nyazi. “He stepped up to cover for our people who couldn’t stay in-person, and he has been very good about following up with customers. He’s here on-time and leaves when the work is done – not just when the time runs out. That’s what makes him a great salesperson.”

Q: How long have you been on the Eide CDJR team? 

I joined the team in January of 2019.

Q: What’s a typical day look like for you?

I spend the day following up with people who are interested in our inventory here at the dealership. I also spend a lot of time getting to know my customers and helping them find exactly what they are looking for. 

Q: What do you like about working at Eide CDJR?

We have loyal customers, and the team here is really great. I definitely wouldn’t have sold that many vehicles in April without support from everyone on the team. 

Q: Why is Eide Chrysler different from other Pine City dealerships? 

Eide Chrysler knows how to take care of people. Period. I know what it feels like to get swept under the rug at a dealership, and we don’t do that here. We make sure everyone is taken care of. 

Q: Who would you like to thank for this award? 

I want to thank the whole team. I didn’t sell 38 cars by myself. Everyone from the other salespeople, the finance department, and our managers helped me do it. 

Q: How do you spend your free time? 

I’m an outdoorsman. Depending on the weather, I’m either ice fishing, out on my boat, or duck hunting.
