Safety Features

Safety features aren't quite as fun as the tech features, but are arguably more important — so we'll start here. The new 2019 RAM 2500 boasts the most active safety and security features ever available in a RAM Heavy Duty Truck, so you'll be on the go with peace of mind. 

Class-Exclusive Safety Options

Exclusive to this HD truck is the available Active Forward Lighting System. These LED lights turn up 15 degrees during nighttime driving for increased visibility. Another feature rare to many HD trucks is the Forward Collision Warning with Active Braking. When an accident is imminent, your truck will give you a warning. If you take no action, it will automatically apply the brakes. 

Other Must-Have Safety Features

In 2019, Pine City drivers can no longer settle for subpar safety when behind the wheel. The 2019 RAM 2500 has all of the available safety features that truck drivers know, love, and expect:

• Blind Sport Monitoring — know when there's a vehicle in your blind spot
• Parksense® Front and Rear Park Assist — take the guesswork out of parking and manuevering 
  
• Adaptive Cruise Control — keep a set distance from other drivers on the road, even with a trailer attached

Also, new in 2019 is the split camera for backing up. James Randall, Sales Manager, says that this is his favorite update.

“Normally you have the backup camera, but this split view shows the right and left side of the trailer, so you can better see the path of the wheels to avoid obstacles.”

When you're working hard in a RAM HD truck, there's often a trailer or equipment to keep your eyes on while you're on the go. These safety features makes it easy to work hard and work safely!

Technology Features

When you slide into the cab of the 2019 RAM 2500, there's one thing you can't miss — the 12-inch touchscreen. (Yes, you read that right.)

In fact, this is the largest screen offered on any HD truck! If you love having your navigation, entertainment, and more right at your fingertips while driving, you'll love this screen and RAM's Uconnect system.

Do You Hear That?

You will, with the available Harman Kardon^® Premium Audio System. This system offers 17 speakers with surround sound. This is the highest number of speakers available in this segment. Hit play on your favorite tunes and enjoy the ride!

And thanks to the Active Noise Cancellation, you'll enjoy your music (or the silence) without the sounds and vibration of the truck. 

Stay Smart

RAM knows you need to stay connected. Smartphone connectivity is standard on most models and wireless charging is also an available option in the center console.

Also, continued from last year is Android Auto and Apple CarPlay availability.
